12 years in the making…

To say we are procrastinators would likely be an understatement!

We took a trip 12 years ago in a gorgeous vintage lime green camper named Olive and we’ve thought fondly about her ever since. That holiday seems like only moments ago, but alas there are more wrinkles, grey hairs and quite a journey between then and now.

Olive took us for a calm and peaceful trundle along the Loire river, through fields of friendly sunflowers, to beautiful French towns and into lively markets, where chicken roasted atop potatoes is still a vivid meal experience for Pete.

We fell in love with the area and it was a significant factor in our purchase of our house in France (www.presbytere.co.uk).

We sadly had to cut that holiday short and I think we’ve always longed to go back and finish it. So we kind of are, it’s just been 12 years in the making!

Buying or creating a campervan has been on our to do list for some time, moving up and down in priority over the years and finally, we’ve taken the plunge!

We can’t wait for this journey and if you want to come along with us, check out our Instagram and Facebook links below!
