Confessions of a Campervan - Part 2

Sooooo, coming home to France after lockdown with the Campervan and not telling you we had River was bad, we have apologised for that, let’s move on and look to the future.

Before we do, we just have another tiny confession to make.

Our first main accessory for River is a bit bigger than originally planned but something we have wanted for a long long time (one of us more than the other).

We had dreams of travelling around in River through France, UK, Europe on day trips, weekends, longer holidays etc.

What is the one main accessory we would need in order to make it all seem perfect, practical, warmer in the winter and just all round good fun.

The obvious answer to all of this is a dog.

For the second blog post in a row we have an introduction to make……………………………………

Please welcome Satchell to the Anthony household and new camper van travel buddy.

Satchell is around 10 months old and a Griffon X and from a local rescue charity here in the Deux Sevres region of France. He has been introduced to River and as you can see is at home already! We are in the stages of training him as he loves being in the car / River but is a little excitable still.

Once he has calmed down a little, our built in sat nav with a nose for any animal, bird, snail or slug will be sitting up front with us in River as we go out exploring!
